All field trips support educational programming and community-based agriculture at Esperanza Community Farms.
Farm & Food Systems Experiences with Youth

Duration: 2–3 Hours
Perfect for school groups and students interested in agriculture and sustainability.
Includes:
Planting or harvesting activity
Guided wetland walk (20 minutes)
Interactive lesson on local food systems and the food supply chain
Optional farm-fresh tasting (+ produce cost)
Family Farm Adventures
Duration: 2 Hours
A fun and engaging experience designed for families and community groups.
Includes:
Self-guided farm treasure hunt
Seed planting or seed-saving activity
Fruit and vegetable tasting or rock painting activity
We Bring the Farm to You
Duration: Flexible
Perfect for elementary schools, and school wellness programs.
Includes:
Meet a local organic farmer
Interactive lesson on local food systems and regenerative agriculture
Mini farmers market where students can "shop" for fresh, local produce
Seasonal salad tasting (when available)
Students learn how supporting local organic farmers strengthens the local economy, builds healthier communities, and helps create a more sustainable food system—all without leaving their school.
